The CLPA logo reminds everybody of the respect that we must have towards the karst : its flora perfumes our spring walking approach. It receives and supports our passion. Unfortunately its cavernicolous fauna has suffered too much from the ignorance of men, the negative prejudices and the unjustified fear that it inspired.

Founded
in 1967 with a group of Montpellieran people passioned with speleology
The CLPA has celebrated its thirtieth birthday in December 1997. It
was the opportunity for remembering all the explorations of the Club
and of its members for three decades past and renewing contacts with
old frienship.
The CLPA speleology section has always been attached to prospecting
and desobstruction.
